We have provided a short training presentation which gives an overview of
- how to recognise a dehydrating illness,
- how to access the medication ‘Sick day guidance’ through the free Polypharmacy: Manage Medicines app
- what actions to take if someone has a dehydrating illness including when to restart the medication or seek further medical review.
We have also provided a couple of resources to help record the use of the guidance and develop case studies in its use – these are for internal use and can help reinforce the training in a operational context.
